Tonicvia works for the patient. This page explains exactly how we are paid, what hospitals can and cannot do, and what will always be disclosed.
Four commitments
Hospitals cannot pay for higher placement
No hospital can pay Tonicvia to appear in a comparison, appear more prominently, or appear ahead of another hospital. Inclusion in a patient comparison is based on the patient's case, hospital response and available information.
Tonicvia does not rank hospitals based on payment
Tonicvia comparisons are organized by information categories — clinical response, estimate clarity, communication, travel feasibility, continuity planning and evidence status — never by any payment, referral fee or commercial incentive.
Relevant commercial relationships will be disclosed
If Tonicvia has any commercial relationship with a hospital, travel partner or service provider that is relevant to a patient's case, that relationship will be disclosed to the patient in writing before the patient makes a decision.
The patient remains free to choose any hospital
The comparison is prepared for the patient's own decision. Patients may choose any hospital — including one not covered in the report — and Tonicvia's service fee does not change based on which hospital the patient selects.
How Tonicvia is paid
- Patients pay Tonicvia a transparent, separate service fee, shown before work begins.
- Patients pay hospitals directly. Tonicvia does not collect or hold hospital payments.
- Tonicvia does not accept hidden hospital referral commissions built into treatment pricing.
- If a travel partner (hotel, transport or similar) offers a commercial arrangement relevant to a coordinated case, it is disclosed before the patient books.
